Description

You will run day-to-day vulnerability management by converting findings from security tests and scans into a controlled, prioritized, and auditable remediation process. The work includes validating and prioritizing vulnerabilities, coordinating corrective actions with asset owners and technical teams, and verifying closure with SLA and exceptions tracking. You will also produce management reports and analyze remediation effectiveness trends and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, validate, and prioritize findings from vulnerability management platforms and other security sources

  • Remove duplicate findings and false positives; add context including affected assets, exploit availability, and operational impact

  • Create, assign, and track remediation tasks with deadlines and SLA

  • Communicate with asset owners and involved technical teams; coordinate remediation measures

  • Organize retesting, maintain records of exceptions and accepted risks, and verify vulnerability closure

  • Create summaries for leadership, technical reports, and trend/efficiency analysis of remediation

  • Regularly use vulnerability management and tracking platforms/tools to monitor status and remediation progress

  • Perform and coordinate scanning within defined scope and time; verify completeness and quality of results

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in vulnerability management, infrastructure management, security testing, or IT security

  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management principles, CVE, CVSS, KEV, risk prioritization, and remediation processes

  • Ability to verify technical findings, differentiate real risk from false positives, and clearly explain remediation approach

  • Familiarity with operating systems, networks, servers, cloud services, and asset administration

  • Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple organizations, manage deadlines, and maintain auditable evidence

  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, independence, and very good communication

  • Excellent Czech and good English

  • Driver’s license category B (active driver)

  • Clean criminal record
