Description

Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities for a banking/financial project. Manage test strategy and plans, defect triage and prioritization, quality risk identification, and quality reporting using KPIs and metrics. Support release readiness with Go/No-Go assessment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test strategy and test plans

• Define test scope, testing approach, and entry/exit criteria

• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing needs and scope

• Plan and estimate testing work; coordinate execution

• Manage test schedule and project dependencies

• Ensure adequate test coverage for key functionalities and business processes

• Coordinate defect management: reporting, triage, prioritization, and resolution monitoring

• Identify quality risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions

• Document test results and prepare quality reports

• Report test status and system quality; monitor QA KPIs and metrics

• Support release processes by assessing readiness and preparing/recommending Go/No-Go decisions

• Coordinate collaboration across testers, developers, analysts, business stakeholders, and other parties

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of test management experience in the banking/financial sector

• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and practical knowledge of manual and automated testing

• Ability to organize work, plan, and coordinate test team activities

• Advanced communication skills and experience managing stakeholders

• Ability to make decisions, set priorities, and respond to risks and issues during testing

• Hands-on knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail and Zephyr

• Hands-on knowledge of Jira and quality reporting/monitoring tools, including quality dashboards
