Description

You will own test management and lead the test team, optimizing test processes and approaches to ensure software quality. You will derive and justify test resource needs, estimate the effort for test activities, report progress and software quality to the right audiences, and support day-to-day testing. You will also advise stakeholders on software quality and test measures, manage test/quality risks, and apply AI tools with critical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Own test management and lead the test team

• Develop and optimize test processes and test approaches

• Derive test resource needs from project goals and justify them to stakeholders; estimate effort for test activities

• Provide audience-appropriate reporting on test progress and software quality; support operational testing

• Advise stakeholders on software quality decisions and test measures

• Assess and control test and quality risks and actively contribute to risk management

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable program

• Minimum 6 years of software testing experience, including ~2 years in test management

• Comprehensive practical knowledge of software testing methods and practices

• Experience in functional people leadership with assertive, clear guidance

• Competent, critical use of AI tools in the specialty area; ability to evaluate results and support customers in leveraging AI potential

• Excellent German and good English for secure communication
