Description

You will be the first point of contact for users when they have IT requests, combining day-to-day IT support with clear user communication and collaboration with an international IT team.

The role includes diagnosing issues, resolving them or escalating to 2nd level support, and supporting users with IT equipment and standard tools. You can also get involved in international IT projects and provide support at other locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support employees with common IT problems and requests

• Handle requests within 1st level support

• Diagnose issues and either resolve them or pass them to 2nd level support

• Help users when working with IT equipment and everyday tools

• Collaborate with local and international IT team colleagues

• Provide support on additional sites as needed

• Participate in international IT projects (as opportunities arise)

Requirements

• Experience with IT support or IT administration

• Strong end-user communication skills; able to explain clearly

• Independent problem-solving and root-cause identification

• Reliable, helpful, customer-oriented mindset

• Willingness to handle various IT request types

• Communicative English; German is a plus

• Willingness to travel occasionally to other locations
