Description

You will be the first point of contact for IT requests from office and production teams. The role includes keeping computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, shared terminals, and other work equipment functioning, and resolving connectivity, access, and application issues—especially within Microsoft 365. You will also prepare and configure devices for new employees and collaborate with a central IT team and external vendors on more complex requirements, including ERP and other enterprise system changes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for IT requests from offices and the production floor

  • Maintain day-to-day functionality of endpoints and workplace equipment (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, shared terminals)

  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving connectivity, access, applications, and Microsoft 365

  • Set up, replace, and continuously administer devices for new hires and ongoing needs

  • Coordinate with central IT (Germany) and external providers for complex tasks

  • Support rollout of new applications, IT changes, and enterprise systems including ERP

  • Work with production and automation colleagues on technical issues affecting operations

  • Identify recurring problems and drive long-term solutions

Requirements

  • Several years of practical experience in IT support or a similar IT position

  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365, endpoint administration, and basic network troubleshooting

  • Ability to systematically analyze problems, identify causes, and complete requests

  • Independent, hands-on approach with the ability to prioritize

  • Clear and friendly communication with both office staff and production workers

  • Ability to work independently while respecting IT standards and procedures

  • English for communication with international colleagues (higher level preferred); German is a plus

  • Advantage: experience in manufacturing/logistics environments

  • Advantage: ERP experience or collaboration with external IT vendors
