Description

You will prepare and manage customer pricing quotations and then prepare and manage customer orders, confirming deliveries based on available production capacity. You will coordinate production planning with other departments, support pricing and manufacturability assessment with the technology team, and communicate delivery delays to customers according to established rules. The role also includes daily coordination with sister plants and sales offices, plus preparing documentation for customs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage customer quotations and communicate pricing to customers (USA, Israel, EU)
• Prepare and manage customer orders, confirm delivery dates based on production capacity, handle potential delays, and find the best solution for the customer
• Plan production in cooperation with other departments
• Support pricing
• Assess the manufacturability of customer requirements with the technology department
• Communicate potential delays to customers according to established rules
• Daily communication with colleagues from sister plants (USA) and sales offices (Germany, France)
• Prepare documentation for customs processing and communicate with customs officials
• Prepare materials for proper dispatch of goods to customers

Requirements

• Organizational skills and the ability to structure assigned tasks
• Technical mindset
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role in a manufacturing plant (e.g., production planner, purchaser, customer order administrator)
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools: Excel, Word, MS Teams, Outlook, and web applications
• Basic orientation in drawing/documentation
• English level B2 for daily written and spoken communication
• Technical secondary education is an advantage
• Basic orientation in metalworking production technologies is an advantage
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work in a team
