Description

Own and maintain a consolidated view of security vulnerabilities across infrastructure, cloud, applications, CDN, WAF, and CMS layers for a large public-facing web estate. Validate, triage, and prioritize vulnerability findings from scanners, penetration tests, security reviews, and vendor advisories; assess real business/technical risk and drive remediation with engineering teams through successful resolution. Produce security posture and remediation reports and help improve vulnerability management via automation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consolidated visibility of vulnerabilities across infrastructure, cloud, applications, CDN, WAF, and CMS

• Validate, triage, and prioritize findings from vulnerability scanners, penetration tests, security reviews, and vendor advisories

• Assess real business and technical risk and challenge false positives

• Drive remediation activities with engineering teams; track issues to resolution

• Support patching across platforms, operating systems, runtimes, and third-party components

• Collaborate on mitigation strategies and long-term security improvements

• Produce security posture and remediation reports for technology and risk stakeholders

• Contribute to automation, governance, and continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes

Requirements

• Hands-on engineering experience in vulnerability management, security remediation, or application/infrastructure security

• Experience investigating and assessing vulnerability findings beyond automated scanner results

• Knowledge of web application security, CDN and WAF technologies, and TLS/DNS/HTTP security mechanisms

• Understanding of common web attack vectors and mitigation techniques

• Cloud experience, ideally Azure

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Fluent English
