Description

Own and drive investigation and remediation of identified security deficiencies from identification through closure. Assess deficiencies and associated risks with technical and business stakeholders, coordinate remediation across teams, and ensure actions are completed on time and aligned with risk management processes and risk appetite. Communicate complex technical topics into clear information for both technical and non-technical audiences via status updates, recommendations, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate investigation and remediation of identified security deficiencies
  • Take ownership of assigned security cases from identification through remediation and closure
  • Assess security deficiencies and associated risks with relevant technical and business stakeholders
  • Ensure risks are addressed in a timely manner per established risk management processes and risk appetite
  • Coordinate remediation activities across technical teams, security specialists, and other stakeholders
  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, and agreed remediation actions
  • Drive cases forward and escalate issues or delays when required
  • Translate complex technical security matters for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver status updates, recommendations, and presentations

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, IT Infrastructure, or related area
  • Practical experience with IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security
  • Experience in IT Risk Management, including assessment and remediation of security risks
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex or ambiguous situations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical and risk-related topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders toward agreed actions
  • Strong ownership mindset; ability to independently drive assigned responsibilities
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and security risks
  • Very good spoken and written English
