Description

You will manage end-to-end vulnerability remediation across diverse technical environments, triaging scan findings (e.g., CVEs), planning safe fixes, and verifying resolution. The role includes coordinating change execution with engineering teams and driving remediation across operating systems, middleware, applications, containers, and cloud services. You will also improve remediation efficiency using runbooks, automation, metrics, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Triage and validate vulnerability findings from scanning tools and advisories, confirming applicability and real-world impact

• Deliver remediation from detection to resolution: planning, change execution, and verification

• Drive remediation across operating systems, middleware, applications, containers, and cloud services

• Prioritize remediation based on risk context and communicate plans, status, and blockers clearly

• Coordinate change execution: scheduling, dependencies, and minimizing service disruption

• Troubleshoot remediation issues such as failed patches and dependency conflicts; perform root cause analysis

• Create and maintain remediation runbooks and standard operating procedures; document repeating patterns

• Track remediation metrics and support continuous improvements focused on speed, quality, and compliance

• Collaborate with security and platform teams to optimize scan quality and reduce false positives

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in vulnerability remediation, security engineering, or infrastructure support

• Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub, including troubleshooting

• Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Groovy

• Ability to work across teams to deliver tooling improvements end-to-end

• Fluent English language skills for communication across global teams

• Practical problem-solving and strong stakeholder communication

• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
