Description

Rewire an existing reporting application to integrate with a new Snowflake-based data warehouse, migrating it from a legacy MS SQL Server solution. Analyze and port existing T-SQL logic to ensure accurate migration, then build features using .NET 8 and .NET 10. Implement data access with Dapper, support collaboration via Git, and help with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Rewire the reporting application to integrate with the Snowflake-based data warehouse
• Analyze and interpret existing T-SQL queries to ensure accurate migration of logic
• Develop and maintain application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Implement data access logic using Dapper
• Design and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality
• Manage source code and collaborate using Git
• Support containerization/orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with the client to understand reporting requirements and ensure smooth transition

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in .NET development
• Proficiency in .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Knowledge of Snowflake and T-SQL
• Experience with Dapper for data access
• Skills in unit and integration testing practices
• Understanding of Git for version control
• Background with Docker and Kubernetes (novice level)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
