Description

Design, build, and maintain high-performance Snowflake data pipelines and modern data architectures. Plan and execute migrations from legacy on-prem systems to Snowflake, fine-tuning data models, queries, and warehouse configurations to maximize performance and cost-effectiveness. Implement AI/ML/GenAI solutions using Snowflake capabilities such as Snowpark and Cortex, while enforcing Snowflake security (RBAC, data masking) and setting up proactive monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Snowflake data pipelines and modern data architectures
• Plan and execute seamless data migrations from legacy on-prem systems to Snowflake
• Fine-tune data models, queries, and warehouse configurations for performance and cost-effectiveness
• Implement solutions leveraging AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI capabilities (Snowpark, Cortex)
• Enforce Snowflake security models (RBAC, data masking)
• Set up proactive pipeline monitoring

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, including Streams & Tasks
• Credit optimization knowledge/models
• Advanced SQL skills
• Strong proficiency in Python (Scala, Java, or Bash is a plus)
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid grasp of modern ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
• Experience with legacy-to-cloud migrations to Snowflake
• Professional fluency in English
