Description

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing an enterprise data platform. Build Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for ingestion, transformation, and validation; ingest from operational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and other OLTP sources) into Snowflake. Develop scalable Snowflake data models using Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to support analytics and downstream applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation

• Design and develop data pipelines ingesting operational database data into Snowflake

• Develop scalable, high-performance data models in Snowflake

• Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models

• Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience

• Strong Python programming skills for ETL/ELT pipeline development

• Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling

• Strong experience with Snowflake

• Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
