Description

Senior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of an enterprise data platform. You will build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows, ingest data from operational databases into Snowflake, and develop scalable Snowflake data models using Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold). You will collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation

• Design and develop data pipelines to ingest data from operational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and other OLTP systems) into Snowflake

• Develop scalable and performant data models in Snowflake

• Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models for analytics and downstream applications

• Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience

• Strong Python programming skills with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines

• Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling

• Strong experience with Snowflake

• Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
