Description

You will rewire an existing reporting application and migrate it from a legacy MS SQL Server data warehouse to a new Snowflake-based solution. The role includes analyzing existing TSQL queries to preserve business logic, implementing features with .NET 8 and .NET 10, and building data access with Dapper. You will collaborate with the team and the client to ensure a smooth transition to the new reporting data platform.

Responsibilities

• Rewire the reporting application to integrate with the Snowflake-based data warehouse
• Analyze and interpret existing TSQL queries to ensure accurate migration of logic
• Develop and maintain application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Implement data access logic using Dapper
• Design and execute unit and integration tests
• Manage source code and collaborate using Git
• Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with the client to understand reporting requirements and ensure smooth transition

Requirements

• 3+ years of .NET development experience
• Proficiency in .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Knowledge of Snowflake and TSQL
• Experience with Dapper
• Skills in unit and integration testing
• Understanding of Git
• Background in Docker and Kubernetes (novice level)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
