Description

Rewire an existing reporting application to integrate with a new Snowflake-based data warehouse, migrating from a legacy MS SQL Server solution. Analyze existing TSQL queries to preserve logic during migration, and build application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10 with Dapper for data access. Ensure quality with unit and integration tests and collaborate with the team using Git.

Responsibilities

• Rewire the reporting application to integrate with the new Snowflake-based data warehouse
• Analyze and interpret existing TSQL queries for accurate migration of business logic
• Develop and maintain application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Implement data access logic with Dapper
• Design and execute unit and integration tests
• Manage source code and collaborate using Git
• Support containerization and orchestration efforts with Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with the client to understand reporting requirements and ensure a smooth transition

Requirements

• 3+ years of .NET development experience
• Proficiency in .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Knowledge of Snowflake and TSQL
• Experience with Dapper
• Skills in unit and integration testing practices
• Understanding of Git
• Background in Docker and Kubernetes at a novice level
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
