Description

Rewire an existing reporting application and migrate it from a legacy MS SQL Server data warehouse to a new Snowflake-based solution. Analyze and interpret existing T-SQL queries to preserve reporting logic, then implement application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10 with Dapper. Ensure quality with unit and integration tests and collaborate with the team using Git while supporting containerization and orchestration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Rewire the existing reporting application to integrate with the new Snowflake-based data warehouse
• Analyze and interpret existing T-SQL queries to ensure accurate migration of logic
• Develop and maintain application features using .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Implement data access logic using Dapper
• Design and execute unit and integration tests
• Manage source code and collaborate with the team using Git
• Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with the client to understand reporting requirements and ensure a smooth transition

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in .NET development, with proficiency in .NET 8 and .NET 10
• Knowledge of Snowflake and T-SQL to understand and migrate existing queries
• Experience with Dapper for data access
• Skills in unit and integration testing practices
• Understanding of Git for version control
• Background in Docker and Kubernetes (novice level acceptable)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
