Description

Join as a Team Leader – SAP Node.js to drive development of modern cloud-based applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will combine hands-on Node.js expertise with technical leadership—guiding a team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions, while influencing architecture and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development using Node.js within SAP BTP, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices and clean design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects
• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
• Coordinate team activities, track performance, and support team development
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and delivery insights
• Contribute to setting up and improving development processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalable, future-ready solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP-related development, including SAPUI5, SAP BTP, HANA, CAP, and Node.js
• Proven Team Lead experience managing and mentoring 10+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js and solid understanding of JavaScript
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO, or similar
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience/knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
