Description

You will lead technical initiatives for the design, development, and delivery of high-quality cloud solutions using SAP CAP with Node.js. The role includes code reviews, feature development, application monitoring and bug fixing, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring. You will also help define architectural decisions, support development-process improvements, and provide metrics to management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and develop features using best practices to ensure clean code and clean design

• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs

• Create technical and user documentation

• Cooperate with the team, track performance, and identify needs

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics and provide required metrics to management

• Participate in setup, improvement, and implementation of development processes

• Contribute to design and architectural decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven engineering experience in SAPUI5, BTP, and HANA

• Background in CAP, Node.js, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.io) with broad technological understanding

• Experience as a team leader/mentor in cloud, SAP, and architecture contexts (mentoring 10+ people)

• Proficiency in design principles and competency in microservice architecture

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js

• Work experience or theoretical knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java, Node.js)

• English proficiency level B2 or higher
