Description

Lead development of modern cloud-based applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform using Node.js, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership. Coordinate team activities, drive architectural decisions for scalable solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, monitoring, and efficient defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead Node.js development activities on SAP BTP, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for clean software design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects
• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
• Coordinate team activities, track performance, and support team development
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders, providing technical guidance
• Contribute to improving development processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Drive architectural decisions to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP-related development, including SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, and Node.js
• Team Lead experience managing and mentoring 10+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js and solid understanding of JavaScript
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO, or similar
• Understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication with cross-functional stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
