Description

Hands-on, automation-first Senior DevOps Engineer contributing across the platform ecosystem—infra automation, continuous delivery pipelines, self-service provisioning, production runbooks, and L2 support. You will also serve as a storage domain expert, particularly for NetApp on AWS, investigating and resolving storage-related incidents at L2 level and improving reliability, performance, and DR readiness.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure on AWS using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, Harness, Kubernetes (operators, CRDs, cluster lifecycle), and GitOps

• Support and evolve continuous delivery pipelines for reliable deployments across environments (PRE, SBX, PRD)

• Build Kubernetes-native self-service provisioning so developers can autonomously claim and consume infrastructure resources (storage, compute, databases, messaging) via Kubernetes-native APIs and GitOps workflows

• Leverage AIOps for intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, AI-assisted incident triage, and automated remediation (AWS DevOps Agent, Datadog, GitHub Copilot)

• Write, maintain, and improve production runbooks; automate and document operational procedures

• Provide L2 support on automation systems and pipelines; troubleshoot issues across the platform ecosystem

• Participate in on-call rotations, contribute to incident response, and perform post-mortems

• Collaborate with Production Ops, DBA, and application engineering teams on platform improvements and migrations

• Contribute to FinOps by identifying and implementing AWS cost optimization opportunities

• Document architecture decisions and operational procedures and contribute to team knowledge sharing

• Storage & Infra specialization: own and automate the storage platform (NetApp, S3, EBS) with high availability, fault tolerance, and DR readiness

• Integrate storage with Kubernetes workloads (PV/PVC, StorageClass, CSI drivers) and backup solutions (AWS Backup, NetApp B&R)

• Ensure RPO/RTO compliance and contribute to DR testing and validation

• Administer and continuously improve Active Directory and DNS with a focus on performance optimization and security compliance
