Description

You will evolve and operate a cloud infrastructure that connects to real-world devices across many hardware platforms, with a strong emphasis on distributed infrastructure, scalability, reliability, and automation. The role is not traditional system administration—it’s modern cloud engineering and DevOps from day one. You’ll work across architecture, production operations, Kubernetes platform automation, CI/CD, observability, and AI-driven DevOps workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Cloud infrastructure architecture, design, and automation
• Operate and scale production Kubernetes environments
• Build platform automation, Kubernetes operators, and internal tooling
• Develop and maintain databases and distributed infrastructure services
• Own CI/CD pipelines
• Improve observability, monitoring, and production reliability
• Perform cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
• Implement infrastructure tooling with overlap into Developer Experience
• Apply AI-driven automation to DevOps and infrastructure workflows
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies that solve real problems
• Participate in a 24/7 L2 on-call rotation (about 1 week out of every 4)

Requirements

• Senior-level hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes
• Strong cloud infrastructure architecture and system design skills
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience
• Proven modern Cloud / DevOps experience with a strong focus on automation
• Production operations experience including troubleshooting and L2 support
• TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB development experience (strong advantage)
• Fluent Czech or Slovak
• Communicative English
