Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will build and scale Kubernetes-based infrastructure and enable robust, automated, and secure delivery of data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with the Data engineering team and partner with Banking, Payments, and payabl.one teams to improve release speed and reliability across a global payments platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, deploying applications with Helm in a code-first Infrastructure as Code approach

• Work with other teams to identify and address platform pain points

• Develop tools and frameworks to improve data platforms

• Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using Prometheus and Grafana

• Implement security best practices and support internal/external compliance requirements

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms

• Proficiency in provisioning infrastructure and managing configurations with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation

• Strong knowledge of AWS data lake services: Glue and Athena

• Linux troubleshooting skills; scripting in Bash/Python/Perl; familiarity with Debian, Ubuntu, and RHEL

• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins

• Excellent written and verbal English communication

• Strong attention to detail and ability to create simple solutions to deliver fast results
