Description

Senior DevOps Consultant to design, migrate, and maintain production Kubernetes platforms across AWS and Azure. You will deliver infrastructure as code with Terraform, migrate workloads from Azure (AKS) to AWS (EKS), and move CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions. The role also includes automation, observability, security, networking support, and troubleshooting in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure

• Administer and develop Kubernetes environments, especially AKS and EKS

• Participate in workload migration from Azure/AKS to AWS/EKS

• Migrate CI/CD processes from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform

• Automate operational and migration processes using Python and/or Bash

• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Collaborate on network/security/access management solutions

• Support data and storage migration: cutover planning, backups, validation, and rollback procedures

• Diagnose and resolve issues in Kubernetes and cloud environments

• Work with development, platform, and other project stakeholders

• Document technical solutions and prepare operational procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure

• Very strong Kubernetes knowledge (Docker, Helm, and/or Kustomize); production Kubernetes experience

• Very strong AWS knowledge, especially Kubernetes/EKS-related services (including IAM roles for service accounts, VPC/security groups, load balancing, Route 53, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, S3, and RDS/EFS)

• Very strong Azure knowledge, especially AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, Azure Networking, Azure Identity, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor/Log Analytics

• Very strong Terraform practical experience (design, refactor, maintain, and create reusable modules)

• Very strong GitHub Actions knowledge and CI/CD workflow experience

• Knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes networking (VPC/VNet, DNS, TLS, ingress/egress, load balancing, firewall, private connectivity, service discovery)

• Security experience across cloud/Kubernetes (IAM, RBAC, secrets management, workload identity, least privilege)

• Observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)

• Practical Python and/or Bash experience

• Hands-on experience migrating environments and applications between cloud platforms

• English proficiency at B2+
