Description

Manage the lifecycle of a Kubernetes platform, including designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure- and platform-supporting tools and automation. Provide operational support and development for AKS and self-hosted clusters, work with Azure/GCP services, and help introduce new IT systems by delivering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Kubernetes platform lifecycle end-to-end

• Design, build, and maintain tools and automation supporting infrastructure and platform services

• Provide operational support and evolve AKS and self-hosted Kubernetes clusters

• Work with cloud services (Azure/GCP)

• Participate in rollout processes for new IT systems by delivering standards, guidelines, and best practices

Requirements

• Very strong Kubernetes knowledge (cluster administration and developer perspective)

• Production experience administering containers and Kubernetes infrastructure

• Understanding of Kubernetes security, hardening, and compliance

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills

• Proficiency with Bash and/or Python

• Ability to automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools

• Practical experience with CI/CD and GitOps (ability to build and develop them)

• Experience with cloud solutions (Azure or GCP)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and using metrics/logs for diagnosis

• Knowledge of AI tools and ability to use them practically to improve efficiency in Kubernetes environments
