Senior DevOps Engineer

Quick Facts - Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform-first) - Focus: Secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure and automation - Platforms: Amazon EKS and AWS services Description As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, automate, and support secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud platforms for production and development environments. You will use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure, create reusable modules, and automate deployments. You will also operate Amazon EKS, maintain hardened Linux machine images, implement security best practices, and support monitoring, troubleshooting, and on-call operations. Responsibilities - Design, build, and support secure, highly available AWS infrastructure - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform - Create reusable Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices - Build and operate Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) platforms for containerized applications - Build and maintain hardened Amazon Linux and Ubuntu machine images with HashiCorp Packer - Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and CI/CD pipelines - Implement AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, patching, vulnerability remediation) - Monitor health/availability/performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana - Troubleshoot AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure issues during on-call rotation - Develop automation and tooling using Python, Go, or Bash - Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams; maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, Terraform standards, and runbooks Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years hands-on with AWS infrastructure deployment using Terraform - Experience building reusable Terraform modules for enterprise IaC - 5+ years hands-on AWS experience - Strong EKS/Kubernetes experience - Strong Amazon Linux and Ubuntu administration - Experience creating machine images with HashiCorp Packer - Experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins (or similar CI/CD) - AWS networking and security knowledge (IAM, VPC, load balancing, Route 53, storage) - Monitoring/observability experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana - Python/Go/Bash scripting or programming experience - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Benefits - Full remote working possibilities - Company-paid premium medical package through Luxmed - MyBenefit cafeteria platform to choose perks - Growth focus with internal events, Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications - Strong community and opportunities for internal mobility
