Description

You will support technology projects with banks, investment firms, and other financial-services organizations by gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements. The focus is on translating business needs into clear, delivery-ready requirements that engineering teams can implement, including user stories and acceptance criteria, with requirement clarification through delivery and UAT/acceptance. Depending on the project, work may cover risk, regulatory change, onboarding, lending, cards, process automation, data initiatives, and other business-critical programmes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements

• Translate business needs into delivery-ready requirements

• Create process maps, perform gap analysis, and assess impacts

• Work with Product Owners, engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders

• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, and structured documentation

• Analyze dependencies across systems, processes, and teams

• Support solution design and implementation decisions

• Clarify requirements during delivery and support UAT/acceptance when required

• Maintain alignment between business decisions, documentation, and implementation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience

• Commercial experience in banking, investment banking, fintech, or another financial-services environment

• Strong requirements analysis and process-modelling skills

• Experience working closely with IT/engineering teams

• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders

• Jira and Confluence (or similar tools)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good English

• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders
