Description

Translate business needs into detailed specifications, manage open requirements, and support defect tracking. Validate banking portal functionality across unit, integration, system, regression, and E2E testing, including React/TypeScript microfrontend UIs and Java Spring Boot/Kotlin REST and Kafka-based backends. Build automated test suites (e.g., Playwright, Gauge, Cucumber, Selenium) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines while working with Agile stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into detailed specifications; manage open requirements and defect tracking

• Design and run unit, integration, system, regression, and E2E tests

• Validate microfrontend UIs built with React and TypeScript

• Test REST APIs and Kafka event-driven backends built on Java Spring Boot and Kotlin

• Build automated test suites using Playwright, Gauge, Cucumber, or Selenium; integrate into CI/CD

• Collaborate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams as the link between business stakeholders and development

Requirements

• Professional fluency in German (mandatory) and English

• Several years of experience as a Software Test/QA Engineer with a strong BA background

• Experience testing React/TypeScript microfrontends and Java/Kotlin/Spring Boot APIs

• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright, Gauge, Cucumber, or Selenium

• Understanding of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as OpenShift or ArgoCD

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

• Background in banking, financial services, or enterprise web portals
