Description

You will analyze requirements, design and execute tests, and verify that releases meet business and technical requirements. You’ll also develop and maintain reliable, maintainable automated test scripts (preferably for backend/API), manage defects, and validate APIs, databases, services, and integrations. The role includes cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of test coverage and quality best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Testing: analyze requirements and identify test scenarios; execute manual functional/integration/regression/end-to-end tests; perform exploratory testing; verify product compliance with business/technical requirements

  • Test Automation Development & Tooling: build and enhance automated test scripts using BDD; create reusable and scalable automation solutions; contribute to/maintain automation frameworks and internal tooling

  • Defect Management: identify, document, prioritize, and track defects; perform root cause analysis; verify fixes and assess regression impact; work with Business Analysts and Developers to resolve issues

  • Technical Validation: validate APIs, databases, services, and integrations; review logs and technical outputs; prepare test data; support test environment readiness and ensure data integrity across systems

  • Collaboration: clarify requirements and acceptance criteria; provide testing status, quality risks, and recommendations; participate in project meetings

  • Continuous Improvement: improve test coverage and testing processes; identify automation and efficiency opportunities; promote quality best practices and contribute to documentation/knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of software testing/QA experience

  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques

  • Experience contributing to QA standards/processes or continuous improvement

  • Analytical skills to understand complex systems and integrations

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving

  • Commercial test automation experience (preferably backend/API)

  • SQL experience for data validation and integrations

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience working in cross-functional and international teams

  • Understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies; contributions across the full delivery lifecycle

  • English at minimum B2 level (written and spoken)

  • Ability to balance quality, timelines, and business priorities

  • Test management and defect tracking tool experience (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
