Description

You will develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated tests for a complex, mission-critical application used across global logistics operations. The role emphasizes translating business scenarios and acceptance criteria into automated coverage spanning functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. You will investigate failures, collaborate with engineering teams, and support modernization including a transition toward Playwright with TypeScript and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated tests for mission-critical applications

  • Analyze business requirements, specifications, and technical designs to identify risks and ensure testability and automation readiness

  • Translate business scenarios and acceptance criteria into clear, comprehensive, and maintainable automated tests

  • Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects

  • Work with Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, and AssertJ in the existing automation framework

  • Contribute to the team’s transition toward Playwright with TypeScript and help establish modern automation practices

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable test execution

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to improve test coverage and QA processes

Requirements

  • Professional experience in Test Automation, Quality Assurance, or Software Development with hands-on automated test building and maintenance

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle

  • Experience with Playwright and TypeScript

  • Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin

  • Understanding of test automation architecture, test data, test environments, synchronization, and maintainable automation design

  • CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution experience is highly desirable

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios

  • Strong English communication skills and ability to work in an Agile, cross-functional team
