Description

You will join a QA team and grow as a tester through analytical testing work for banking systems used by major banks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role goes beyond clicking: you will create test cases, validate business requirements, manage bug reports with retesting, and work with client-reported issues. You will also use testing tools such as SQL tooling, Postman, SoapUI, and VBA makers, and develop skills working with AI models.

Responsibilities

• Analyze testing inputs and determine what to test, why, and how
• Create test cases to catch defects before they reach clients
• Test both the application and the underlying business requirements
• Report bugs and perform retesting
• Use SQL Studio, Postman, SoapUI, VBA makers, and CTS testing tools (or be willing to learn them)
• Update specifications and user manuals to improve documentation quality
• Create scenarios for regression testing to enable later automation
• Analyze client-reported errors and communicate with users
• Develop, use, and operate AI models (e.g., Claude AI, Copilot Studio)

Requirements

• Completed university degree in a field that supports analytical thinking and working with complex data/structures
• Analytical thinking and systematic defect-finding approach
• Communication and assertive collaboration with analysts, developers, and clients
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve
• Excellent Czech or Slovak
• English proficiency at least B2
• Interest in long-term professional growth in testing (junior or experienced)
• Knowledge of investments or banking is a plus
