Senior QA Engineer & Business Analyst (German Speaking)

Description

You will bridge technical delivery and requirement refinement for complex online banking systems. Own end-to-end quality assurance across microfrontend UIs, backend microservices, and event-driven architectures, while clarifying requirements and driving defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across the full lifecycle (unit, integration, system, regression, and E2E)
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify ambiguous functional and non-functional requirements and produce actionable specifications
• Perform UI and functional testing for web apps built with React and TypeScript in microfrontend environments
• Execute API and service testing for Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, and Kafka-based event-driven systems
• Integrate automated tests into cloud-native CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift and ArgoCD
• Use AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to streamline test script generation and improve testing workflows

Requirements

• Fluent or native German (B2+ written and spoken)
• Strong English skills
• Proven experience in Software QA/Test Automation in modern Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Business analysis or requirements engineering experience
• Experience testing microfrontends with React and TypeScript
• Solid exposure to testing REST services and event-driven systems (Kafka, Java Spring Boot, Kotlin)
