Description

You will work on a project building a new solution that generates inputs for BIK. The role involves designing and developing manual and automated tests for data-warehouse based systems, including test data creation, data/integration pipeline tests, and automated regression tests. You will also validate data flows across application and integration layers into the data warehouse, verify ETL/ELT processes, and analyze issues at the application–API–data warehouse boundary.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manual and automated tests for data-warehouse based solutions

• Create tests for data, data/integration, and data pipelines

• Develop automated regression tests

• Test REST API and SOAP services

• Verify correct data flow between application, integration layer, and data warehouse

• Validate ETL/ELT processes and analyze data quality

• Prepare SQL queries for data validation

• Analyze errors at the intersection of application, API, and data warehouse

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data teams

• Delivery model: hybrid (1 day per week on the client site in Warsaw)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing applications, data warehouses, or data pipelines

• Experience automating tests

• Very good knowledge of SQL

• Experience testing REST API and/or SOAP

• Experience working with data warehouses, ETL/ELT, and large data volumes

• Knowledge of Postman and SoapUI/ReadyAPI and database tools

• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or similar tools

• Ability to analyze requirements and independently define test scope

• Strong analytical skills
