Description

Support a mission that matters by improving customer experience for an enterprise AI platform through research-driven, user-centered decisions. Plan and run user research (interviews, usability sessions, surveys), synthesize findings into actionable insights, and translate insights into low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes in Figma. Map experiences with personas, journey maps, and service blueprints while keeping accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG) at the forefront and feeding insights back into onboarding, training, and product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, usability sessions, surveys) and synthesize findings

• Create low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes in Figma in partnership with the design team

• Build personas, journey maps, and service blueprints for AI service experiences

• Champion accessibility by applying Section 508 and WCAG throughout the work

• Feed research into onboarding, training, and product decisions to improve adoption

• Act as the voice of the user with evidence and prototypes for stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years in UX/HCD research with hands-on design exposure

• Strong research toolkit (user research, usability testing, synthesis) and ability to tell the story behind data

• Working design skills in Figma (wireframes and prototypes)

• Familiarity with USWDS and federal CX mandates

• Fluency in modern research and design tools (Figma, Mural, Dovetail, or similar)

• Accessibility awareness and application of Section 508 and WCAG

• Experience researching data-heavy or AI-driven products (dashboards, search, chat, knowledge tools)
