Description

You will support the planning, design, and implementation of AML/CFT solutions by creating internal security standards, driving AML/CFT compliance projects (including IT application changes), and performing AML/CFT risk assessment activities. The role includes analyzing high-risk client matters, verifying clients across PEP and high-risk country/asset-freezing requirements, and updating customer risk assessments. You will also manage project execution, control delivery quality and timelines, and oversee key project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Create AML/CFT security standards, including drafting internal regulatory projects and supervising their implementation and operation

  • Initiate and lead projects to ensure the bank complies with AML/CFT regulations

  • Initiate and coordinate IT application changes to ensure AML/CFT compliance

  • Assess new products and services to determine AML/CFT risk levels

  • Analyze cases involving clients with elevated AML/CFT risk

  • Verify clients for: politically exposed persons (PEP), asset-freezing requirements, and transactions with high-risk countries

  • Update customer AML/CFT risk assessments

  • Lead projects implementing new AML/CFT regulations, including:

    • Plan, organize, and settle project-team work

    • Report progress to related project managers and the Steering Committee

    • Ensure quality and timely delivery of final project products

    • Identify project risks and resolve key issues with related project managers

    • Coordinate project organizational aspects (maintain schedule, prepare meetings, status reports, maintain risk/problem register)

    • Process change requests and support formal acceptance of project documents and supplier agreement documentation

    • Oversee realization and acceptance of project deliverables (detailed project schedule, communication plan, training plan, rollout/implementation plan, production go-live criteria)

Requirements

  • Knowledge of current AML/CFT legal regulations

  • Ability to analyze regulations and develop guidance for business requirements in AML/CFT
