Description

A hands-on Product Owner who turns rough ideas or customer conversations into detailed, validated requirements for a GenAI-powered regulatory change management platform. You’ll steer the product across regulatory intelligence, policy and control impact analysis, compliance workflow, and an interactive AI assistant—working closely with a founder and a Technical Lead. You’ll balance AI automation with human validation and explainability, using product data and logs to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the product (or a defined pillar) end to end—from concept to detail where quality is usually lost

• Convert conversations and ideas into well-formed, detailed user stories and requirements

• Validate requirements directly with customers (e.g., CCOs, General Counsels, Heads of Regulatory Change, risk teams)

• Shape behavior for obligations, applicability scoring, and review workflows with AI automation plus human validation

• Analyze logs and product data to understand real usage and act on it

• Assess what exists today and improve it while keeping a clarity-over-feature-bloat philosophy

Requirements

• Senior Product Owner experience owning outcomes

• Technical/engineering background with genuine understanding of data models and software construction

• Proven success in a startup environment; fluent in Agile and the true remit of product

• Modern AI-literate approach; comfortable shaping LLM-assisted features responsibly (governance, explainability, human-in-the-loop)

• Strong ownership, sound judgment, and proactive execution

• Fit via at least one background: compliance/regulatory experience; strong SaaS startup/product-led background; or AI-related product experience (bonus for multiple AI products in a startup)

• Strongly preferred: firsthand exposure to compliance/regulatory-change team workflows

• Strongly preferred: FinTech startup background touching regulation or compliance
