Description

You will act as a Middleware Engineer for an application migration within a data center migration program. The middleware layer supports critical payment card transaction authorization and related business processes implemented in a three-tier architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the FTS Application & Middleware team on BAU tasks

• Coordinate with project managers on building, testing, and migrating to new environments

• Prepare and handle infrastructure build, configuration, and access requests

• Diagnose and solve technical problems

• Monitor environments for performance and reliability

• Produce high-quality live documentation (Confluence)

Requirements

• Knowledge of middleware tools and application environments, including: BMC Control-M, Oracle APEX, Oracle Data Integrator 12c, Oracle Internet Directory 11g/12c, Oracle Forms 11g, Oracle Reports 11g, Oracle REST Data Service (ORDS), Oracle Service Bus 11g, and Oracle WebLogic 11g

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and scripting/automation: Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, Python

• Experience with orchestration/automation: Rundeck, Ansible

• Experience in similar application migration projects

• Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring, and resilience for semi real-time online transaction systems and mass transaction processing

• Strong communication skills in Polish and English and ability to work with cross-country SMEs
