Description

Manage and administer the infrastructure ecosystem that supports secure software delivery, including monitoring for expected availability. Help migrate from legacy monoliths to next-generation, cloud-native platforms, primarily using Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. Ensure infrastructure, CI/CD, security compliance, and performance analysis across both on-prem and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Azure DevOps for teams to run agile sprints and deploy secure, high-quality software
• Create and maintain build/release processes using YAML across multiple agile teams and dev/test/production environments on-premises and in Azure
• Create and deploy secure Bicep code for Azure infrastructure and configuration
• Ensure compliance with Azure Security Centre and Azure Policy
• Recommend solutions and process improvements while adapting to changing priorities
• Adopt and implement containerization and orchestration platforms
• Analyze system unavailability and poor performance and their impact on customers and staff
• Share knowledge within the project team

Requirements

• 3-4+ years DevOps experience, particularly using Azure DevOps, Azure, and Kubernetes
• Deep experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on daily expertise with OpenShift clusters (maintaining and building)
• Experience setting up and configuring cloud networking
• Understanding and experience of Agile-based development methodologies
• Experience working with business partners and non-IT customers
• Experience integrating with external/third-party systems
• Understanding of IT security
• Degree or equivalent in IT, Computing, or similar discipline
• Optional: Azure certification
