Description

You will develop embedded middleware in C and C++ for mobile work machines, considering functional safety requirements. The role focuses on porting and extending middleware for modern multi-core systems. You will also handle software specification, creation of requirements documents (Pflichtenhefte), documentation, testing, and support during commissioning.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree (M.Sc./M.Eng./Diplom) in Technical Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
• Experience with microcontrollers used in embedded real-time systems
• Strong embedded programming experience in C and C++
• Ideally experience with safety-relevant software development and knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 25119)
• Ability to communicate well in both German and English
• Enjoys complex software projects and is a creative problem-solver
