Description

You will translate business requirements into system logic and concrete technical solution proposals for logistics systems supporting shipments to stores and e-commerce customers, international transportation, courier integrations, documentation, invoicing, and partner data exchange. You will design synchronous and asynchronous integrations, data flows, processing rules, and handle both standard and exceptional scenarios. You will document, model, and align design decisions with architects, project managers, business analysts, developers, and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into system logic and solution proposals

  • Design APIs and synchronous/asynchronous integrations between systems

  • Define data flows, processing rules, validations, dependencies, and exception handling

  • Analyze the impact of changes on two key logistics systems and connected solutions

  • Use SQL to analyze data, validate logic, and diagnose inconsistencies

  • Prepare models, diagrams, and documentation for discussions with technical teams

  • Consult with the technical team and incorporate architectural decisions and constraints

  • Support development and QA through implementation and testing

  • Identify edge cases, dependencies, constraints, and system risks

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in system analysis, IT system design, or a technical role closely related to software development

  • Ability to independently translate business requirements into system logic and proposed solution design

  • Hands-on API and integration design experience (synchronous and asynchronous)

  • Ability to define data flows, contracts, validation rules, dependencies, error handling, and edge cases

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL; ability to use data to validate logic and diagnose inconsistencies

  • Ability to create and maintain system documentation used by development and QA teams

  • Proficiency modelling with UML and BPMN

  • Experience with Enterprise Architect (or similar)

  • Understanding of system dependencies and impact of changes

  • Ability to present and justify solutions to developers, QA engineers, and architects

  • Independent work style with comfort collaborating in a team

  • Polish fluency at C1 and English at B2 or higher

  • Willingness to work from the office at least 3 days/week in Gdańsk or Warsaw
