Description

You’ll build and evolve web applications with an emphasis on backend development in Python and the ability to touch frontend areas in Next.js/React when needed. The role is not limited to ticket execution—your goal is to understand the problem context, propose solutions, and ensure the delivered outcome works end-to-end. You’ll collaborate with experienced developers and architects while using AI tools as a regular part of development.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services primarily in Python using Django or FastAPI
• Design APIs, data models, and integrations for web applications
• Modify or extend parts of the Next.js/React application as needed
• Work with incomplete or high-level requirements by turning them into workable technical solutions
• Consult with senior team members/architects on technical decisions and approach
• Ensure the final solution is meaningful and functional

Requirements

• Practical Python experience with at least one real built project
• Experience with Django or FastAPI
• Ability to work on frontend in Next.js/React when required
• Experience with API design and data modeling
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git and testing
• Ability to read and work with English technical documentation
• Czech or Slovak language proficiency
• Problem-solving mindset focused on understanding the whole application
