Description

Own sourcing, strategic purchasing, and product development to directly influence which products enter and remain in the portfolio. You’ll manage projects end-to-end—from supplier selection and negotiations to listing and pricing, analysis and evaluation, and packaging—with a strong focus on quality and long-term supplier sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Source and select new products and suppliers globally
• Handle sourcing (~80% of time): PDL/project sourcing plus strategic and operational purchasing for top commodities
• Negotiate prices, MOQ, and commercial terms; optimize purchasing conditions
• Find alternative suppliers to reduce purchasing risks
• Drive packaging solutions, collaborating with suppliers on specifications and implementation
• Develop the product range (~20% of time): propose new product and improvement ideas, identify portfolio opportunities, and monitor the market and competitors

Requirements

• Experience in sourcing or strategic purchasing
• Ability to identify, select, and manage suppliers
• Proven negotiation skills for pricing, MOQ, and commercial terms
• Ability to drive product projects from idea through implementation
• Knowledge of packaging specifications and changes, including supplier collaboration
• Analytical mindset focused on margin, purchasing cost, and efficiency; evaluate economic viability
• Excellent Czech and business-level English
• Advantage: experience in durable foods, dietary supplements, or the health segment
