Description

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of hardware engineers and mechatronics specialists to design and deliver autonomous drone systems. Own the hardware architecture, prototype-to-production processes, and technical leadership for integration and testing, including PX4 platform integration. Represent the solution to key clients and international partners while shaping the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor hardware engineering and mechatronics teams

  • Design and build hardware prototypes from scratch (electrical/mechanical systems, PCBs, system integration)

  • Establish processes to transition from prototyping to serial, scalable manufacturing

  • Contribute to UAV hardware architecture, testing platforms, and product roadmap

  • Provide technical leadership for client and partner projects

  • Oversee drone assembly, system wiring, and PX4 integration

  • Define methodologies for lab and field testing/diagnostics

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Proven experience leading a hardware/electrical R&D team (goals, project management, design reviews)

  • End-to-end hardware development experience: concept through CAD/3D modeling, 3D printing, and building a physical product

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical wiring and power distribution systems

  • Solid PCB design expertise

  • Understanding of mass production requirements and DFM (Design for Manufacturability)

  • Fluent English (C1) for collaboration and presentations to international clients
