Description

You will test and improve newly developed and assembled drones by flying frequent test missions, performing pre-flight preparation and diagnostics, and tuning flight parameters to optimize flight characteristics. The role includes basic hardware maintenance, supporting hardware/software “bring-up” of new drones, and preparing customer demonstration events with feedback to the programming and development team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct near-daily test flights of new drone prototypes

• Perform pre-flight preparation, diagnostics, and initial bring-up (HW/SW overlap)

• Tune parameters to optimize flight performance

• Perform regular checks and basic drone hardware maintenance

• Prepare and run drone demonstration events for clients

• Provide feedback to programmers and developers

Requirements

• Ability to fly drones in both position-stabilized and fully manual modes

• Knowledge of applicable Czech drone laws and operating rules

• A2 pilot certificate

• Proven experience with PX4 and/or ArduPilot

• Technical overlap into hardware or software

• Strong communication skills in Czech

• Effective teamwork in an international setting (English B2 minimum)

• Driver’s license category B
