Description

You will support the development team by assembling, modifying, and testing hardware prototypes, and by designing PCB layouts and electronic circuits. Work starts with simpler circuits and manufacturing test fixtures and progresses toward components used in final medical devices, with close collaboration with a senior HW engineer and a project manager. The role includes assisted self-learning and gradual responsibility as you build experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and test hardware prototypes
• Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic circuits
• Develop from simpler circuits and manufacturing test fixtures to components for final medical equipment
• Collaborate within the development team with close coordination with a senior HW engineer and a project manager
• Take on increasing responsibility for assigned tasks

Requirements

• Student at university (ideally electrical engineering) with the ability to attend at least 16 hours per week
• Knowledge of electronics at the discrete-component level with practical application (e.g., transistor switch design, voltage divider calculation, power supply basics)
• At least one small self-made hardware project (school project acceptable) with real HW design
• Technical enthusiasm and the ability to actively identify and address knowledge gaps
• English skills sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation
