Description

You will join a new high-impact technology team working on the development of a breakthrough military RF product (STELA). The role starts in an extensive research initiative and progresses into hands-on RF/analog hardware development and product scaling. You will design, simulate, and integrate RF/analog blocks for systems operating in the ~6–40 GHz range.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate RF and analog blocks (amplifiers, mixers, switches, filters, oscillators, power amplifiers) in ~6–40 GHz
• Optimize RF routing for noise figure, gain, linearity, and stability
• Select RF topologies, substrates, technologies, and modular solutions (RF laminates, ceramic, hybrid modules, MMIC) and integrate them into RF and digital parts of the system
• Design receiver power and supply circuitry
• Create schematics and design PCBs, including high-frequency layout rules
• Collaborate with HW, mechanical design (mounting, placement, shielding) and manufacturing (assembly, bring-up, tuning)
• Prepare the relevant parts of production documentation

Requirements

• Knowledge of RF and analog principles (amplifiers, mixers, filters, PLL, oscillators)
• Advanced experience with circuit design and simulation (ADS, AWR, LTspice), and optionally EM simulation (HFSS, CST)
• PCB design experience for high-frequency routing, impedance control, and shielding
• Knowledge of MMIC design or integration (GaAs, GaN, SiGe)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Precision, reliability, and willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to read and write technical English
