• Role: Web Care Specialist (WordPress website maintenance and support)

Description

Maintain and support WordPress websites to ensure smooth operations and updated client-facing experiences. You will handle regular updates, live-site monitoring, content changes, and pre-release testing—then report issues clearly. Programming is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular WordPress updates within SLA (system + plugins) and verify results after updates

• Run updates first in a testing environment with monitoring and team support

• Oversee the operation of running websites: check that everything works, record problems, and resolve them with developers

• Update and edit website content via the WordPress admin (texts, images, new pages or products)

• Test new features/changes before deployment on both mobile and desktop; report bugs clearly

• Research plugins, tools, and solutions and prepare decision inputs for the team

• Communicate in English with plugin and hosting support when coordination is needed

Requirements

• User-level knowledge of WordPress (or another CMS); no programming required

• Detail-oriented and reliable approach to updates and testing

• Product mindset—understand what the website is for and how real users use it

• Basic technical understanding: domains, hosting, caching, responsive design

• Ability to research independently and summarize findings clearly

• Communicative English (at least B2), especially for written contact with external support
