Description

You will handle customer requests in a way that goes beyond standard helpdesk: you investigate what is happening inside the system and data, use logs and database queries to diagnose root causes, and either resolve issues directly or escalate them to developers with clear context. You also monitor customer environments to catch problems early and help distinguish routine support from billable service requests. You sit between customers and the development team to propose solutions based on how functions and integrations were originally designed.

Responsibilities

• Accept and resolve customer requests via YouTrack, from simple questions to complex technical problems

• Diagnose issues and, when possible, implement solutions, workarounds, or reconfiguration rather than only reporting

• Investigate system behavior through databases (SQL and NoSQL) and extract relevant information

• Classify whether a request is standard support or an additional item that must be billed

• Communicate with developers about original design of functions and integrations, and propose solutions accordingly

• Monitor customer environments using CheckMK and Sentry to detect issues before customers report them

Requirements

• Linux knowledge at typical administration level

• Understanding of processes, permissions, filesystem, and services

• Database orientation; ability to work with SQL vs NoSQL and extract insights

• Experience in technical support or IT operations (role is beyond L1 helpdesk)

• Czech: native or C1

• English: communicative level for technical communication
