Description

Join a team responsible for maintaining and improving critical production systems supporting global payment processes. You will work in a production environment, analyze complex technical problems across infrastructure and databases, and build automation to improve reliability. The role includes production monitoring, incident/problem resolution, root-cause analysis, release support, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure stability of production environments

• Analyze and resolve incidents and problems impacting applications

• Identify root causes of outages and implement preventive actions

• Support deployments of new features and changes to production environments

• Create and improve automation using Bash or Python

• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders across global locations

• Help optimize operational processes and increase system reliability

• Analyze data and support troubleshooting related to databases

• Participate in testing and validation before production releases

• Perform on-call duty (24h) according to the team schedule (about one weekend per month)

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in application, infrastructure, or production environment support

• Excellent Linux knowledge

• Practical database experience with Oracle (or other relational DBs) and SQL

• Experience creating automation scripts in Bash or Python

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of Kubernetes

• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot/resolve production incidents

• Communicative English
