Description

You will operate, further develop, and optimize customer network infrastructures across LAN, WAN, and WLAN, with a special focus on Cisco WLAN solutions. You will help introduce and test new technologies, support their transition into production, and analyze and troubleshoot network incidents. You will also contribute to client projects to gain experience with different network environments and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating, further developing, and optimizing network infrastructure in LAN, WAN, and WLAN
• Participate in introducing and trialing new technologies and support migration to productive operation
• Analyze network incident causes and perform troubleshooting to deliver fast, sustainable solutions
• Configure, operate, and further develop Cisco WLAN solutions, including Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points
• Work on client projects to gain insight into diverse network environments and technologies

Requirements

• Completed IT education or degree (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable program
• Practical experience in operating and evolving complex network infrastructures, ideally with Cisco Systems
• Good knowledge of datacenter networking, campus switching (e.g., Cisco Catalyst), WLAN, or WAN
• Solid Cisco WLAN technology knowledge, especially configuration and administration of Cisco WLC and Access Points
• First experience with DevOps approaches, automation, or Infrastructure-as-Code is desirable (e.g., automation tools, APIs, modern network platforms)
• Structured, independent working style, quick comprehension, and high quality/service orientation
