Description

You will plan, implement, and manage enterprise and WLAN network projects using modern vendor technologies. You will support sales in pre-sales with technical consulting, and you will take ownership of post-sales execution from configuration to final commissioning. You will analyze network problems, deliver durable solutions, collaborate with manufacturers/support teams, and help automate and optimize networks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, realize, and support network projects focused on HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, or Cisco
  • Assist sales in pre-sales: advise customers on technical concepts and identify suitable solutions
  • Independently execute projects in post-sales: from configuration to final go-live
  • Analyze network issues and develop sustainable solutions in close collaboration with manufacturers and their support teams
  • Actively contribute to managed-service operations and support the service desk for complex cases
  • Use tools such as Ansible, Python, and NetBox for network automation and optimization
  • Continuously update knowledge via certifications and trainings aligned with partner technologies

Requirements

  • Based in Germany and German at C-level business fluency (essential)
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, communications engineering, or comparable IT training (career changers welcome)
  • Strong experience in routing, switching, firewall handling, and WLAN planning (e.g., Ekahau or Hamina)
  • Enjoy direct customer contact and can explain technical topics clearly
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
  • Plus: experience automating and optimizing networks with Ansible, Python, or NetBox
